Editing Skins

To modify your helpdesk skins, head over to the "Look & Feel" section of the ACP.
The Skin List panel shows the names of the available skins in your helpdesk system.

Editing Skin Properties
On the Skin List, click on the blue "Edit" capsule button next to the skin that you would like to modify. You will be brought to the Edit Properties screen where you can adjust general information about this skin:
Name
The title of this skin, as displayed to customers and staff members.
Image directory
The name of the folder containing all of this skin's images, located inside the images directory of your Trellis Desk system.
Author
The name of the person/group that created this skin.
Author Email
The email address of this skin's author.
Author Website
The website of this skin's author.
Notes
If you'd like, you can type notes about this skin in the text area. Notes will not be visible to your customers.
Click the "Edit Properties" button once you're finished.
Editing the Skin CSS
You can edit a skin's stylesheet from within the ACP. On the Skin List, click on the "CSS" link that corresponds with the skin that you would like to modify. You will be brought to the Edit CSS screen where you can make whatever stylesheet changes you'd like. Click the "Edit CSS" button once you're finished.

Editing the Skin Wrapper
The wrapper serves as an outline of your helpdesk's page layout. On the Skin List, click on the "Wrapper" link that corresponds with the skin that you would like to modify. You will be brought to the Edit Wrapper screen where you can make whatever changes to the wrapper code you'd like. Click the "Edit Wrapper" button once you're finished.
Editing the Skin Templates
The templates determine how all of your helpdesk content is displayed to your customers. On the Skin List, click on the "Templates" link that corresponds with the skin that you would like to modify. You will be brought to the Template List screen where you can click on the template that you would like to edit. When you're dong editing a template, click the "Edit Template" button to save your changes.
Deleting a Skin
On the Skin List, click on the blue "Delete" capsule button next to the skin pack you would like to remove. A confirmation message will appear, ensuring that you really want to remove this skin. Click "OK" to do so.
You cannot delete a skin if it is currently set as the helpdesk default.
