Moving, Closing, or Deleting a Ticket

Handling a Ticket
On the Ticket View screen, you'll notice several buttons running along the top of the Ticket Details panel. These buttons allow you to move a ticket to a different department, close/reopen a ticket, or delete a ticket.
Moving a Ticket
Click on the "Move" button to move a ticket to a different department. You will be brought to the Moving Ticket screen; at this screen, simply select a destination department from the drop-down menu, then click the "Move Ticket" button once you're finished.
Closing a Ticket
Click on the "Close" button to mark a ticket as closed. A confirmation message will appear, ensuring that you really want to close this ticket. Click "OK" to do so.
Reopening a Ticket
Want to reopen a ticket you've closed? No problem -- the "Close" button has become a "Reopen" button. Just click on the "Reopen" button to mark the ticket as open again.
Deleting a Ticket
Click on the "Delete" button to destroy this ticket. A confirmation message will appear, ensuring that you really want to delete this ticket. Click "OK" to do so.
Handling Multiple Tickets at Once
Trellis Desk has a multi-moderation feature that lets you perform tasks on several tickets at once.
On the Ticket List screen, place a checkmark in the box of any tickets you would like to handle. At the bottom of the panel, choose the task you would like to perform on the selected tickets from the "With Selected" drop-down menu. Click on the "Go" button to carry out this task.
