Viewing Announcements

To view a listing of your announcements, head over to the "Management" section of the ACP. In the grey sidebar menu, under Announcement Control, click on Manage Announcements.

The Announcements List panel shows the names and descriptions of your helpdesk's announcements.

Viewing Announcements

Let's take a closer look at the Announcements List panel.

1: Announcement ID number

This is the unique number used to identify a particular announcement.

2: Announcement name

This is the title of the announcement.

3: Announcement description

This is a brief description of the announcement's actual content.


Column ordering

You can click on one of the column headers (ID, Name, or Description) to sort the announcement list in that fashion. For example, clicking on ID will sort the announcements by ID number in numerical order, whereas clicking on Name will sort them by their titles in alphabetical order. Once you have clicked on a column header, you can click on it again to toggle between ascending and descending order.

The default order setting is by ID, with the earliest created announcements at the top of the list and the most recently created announcements at the bottom.
