Viewing Custom Profile Fields

To view your custom profile fields, head over to the "Management" section of the ACP. In the grey sidebar menu, under Member Control, click on Custom Profile Fields.

The Custom Profile Fields List panel shows all of the custom profile fields currently setup in your helpdesk system.

Viewing Profile Fields

Let's take a closer look at the Custom Profile Fields List panel.

Custom Profile List panel

1: Field ID number

This is the unique number used to identify a particular custom profile field.

2: Group name

This is the name of the custom profile field, as shown to both customers and staff members.

3: Field key

This is the unique lowercase/alphanumeric identifier used by a field.

4: Field type

This is the type of field in use; available options include text field, text area, drop-down list, checkbox, and radio.

5: Required

If 'Yes', the user must fill out this field when updating their profile information.
